In December 2019, Amsterdam UMC initiated a study into the reliability and applicability of Electronic Preoperative Screening in clinical practice. This study was temporarily suspended for several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but resumed in August 2020. Patients participating in the study are now screened and informed from home using E-POS. The study is being conducted at both locations, VUmc and AMC.
